Daufuskie Island is a diamond in the rough: a short boat ride from Hilton head or Savannah, but a world apart. Since there’s no bridge, Low Country ferry from Bluffton or Bull River charters from Savannah are the best ways to get here, unless you have your own watercraft. Another good charter service from Savannah is  Islandshuttleboattours.com. If you're coming from Tybee Island and want to spend more time on the water, Crab Creek Charters is a good way to go. Captain Chez "Fuskie" Simmons comes from pretty much anywhere. We keep both 4- and 6-seaters at the ferry landings where they arrive, or we can have your cart ready for you at your rental house, if you prefer. All of our carts are late-model Club Cars with fuel-injected engines, so they are quieter, more efficient, and more eco-friendly than the older models. If you come over on Daufuskie Difference from Broad Creek Marina, H2O Water Sports, Vagabond Cruises, or Hilton Head By Boat, you'll arrive at Freeport Marina, and it's an easy three-four-minute walk to the Melrose Ferry Landing where my carts are.
